UPDATE 7/31/08 - Note to Subscribers

UPDATE - JULY 31, 2008

The three month period of inquiry is now over for current subscribers. Those who did not request a subscription inquiry have been automatically rolled over into our new advance viewing program for the digital magazine.

For those who made inquiries, we will be making a mass distribution of emails to you within the next 10 days, in which you can make your final decisions given the available options. Check your In-boxes in the very near future!

Thanks again!

We’d like to thank all of you for your continued patience during a struggling time. Your constant good cheer and support for the magazine is greatly appreciated, as an overwhelming majority of our readers are eager to see what’s in store for the future of KartSport.

First off, we kindly request that you READ THIS in order to get a more comprehensive understanding of the current situation.

It’s important for us to convey one thing right away; you will be still getting the issues that you subscribed to, but the medium (formerly print, now digital) has been changed. The magazine will still continue to provide the type of commentary and photography that you’ve come to expect from KartSport, but the BEST news is that we’ve resolved the biggest issue that we’d faced for the past 18 months- that of consistent delivery into your hands. Making the product better has been paramount to us, so that you, the reader, will be satisfied, and this change definitely achieves that goal.

Our readers are thrilled with the new direction of KartSport, as the return to a monthly format is causing the most excitement. More articles, more regularity, more everything. People with current subscriptions will get first access to the digital issues when they get published to the web; before the general public, our current subscribers will get to see the latest articles, photos and commentary, and so far most of our current subscribers have agreed that they want to continue their subscription in this manner.

While our change to a digital format has been met with huge approval, we understand that not everyone will embrace this inevitable change in the publishing industry. To that end, we’re offering a few alternatives to those people.

For those who want a different resolution to this situation, we also offer the following. Depending upon how many issues are left on your subscription, and in place of the advanced access to the new digital magazines, a subscriber could instead choose to use their credit toward our increasingly rare supply of printed back issues or other merchandise, or get a pro-rated refund for the balance of the subscription.

In order to handle all subscription inquiries in the most expeditious manner as possible, we will be handling all subscription matters only by email. Given the large size of the KartSport subscriber base, this was the only realistic option for us. We have dedicated some of our new staff to do little else but resolve these matters as quickly as possible.

In order to find out the number of issues left on your subscription and learn which options are available to you, please send: subscriber’s name, current address, order number (if applicable) to subscribers@kartsportmagazine.com. Please put “Sub Inquiry” in the subject line of the email. We will then respond and let you know your options. PLEASE NOTE that as of July 24, 2008, all subscribers who have not made an inquiry into their options will automatically be converted to the new digital subscription. Their advance preview of each month’s digital issue will then last the duration of their previously ordered subscription.

In a related matter, all of our recent merchandise orders have been fulfilled promptly, but if something you’ve ordered (t-shirt, poster, etc.) has yet to arrive, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’ll box it up and ship it out pronto.

Thanks again for all your support and patience! It’s what drives us to find a good solution for everyone!

Noelle Hall
