Congratulations to Fritz Leesmann for making the cover of this landmark issue of KartSport; Fritz went on a tear at the Florida Winter Tour, winning four of six races and earning the Pro Shifter class championship and the $7500 payday that went with it.
The June 2008 issue is highlighted by our third annual chassis shootout, as we pit six of the best TAG/100cc chassis on the market to decide who’s this year’s big kahuna. Backing it up is our 125 Shifter shootout, in which legendary manufacturers Birel, CRG, and Tony Kart go to war over gearbox bragging rights. We also have a massive season review of the 2008 Florida Winter Tour, along with race coverage from the Stars of Karting event held at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah.
